Well, I did the sketch for this a while ago *points to scraps* and I really liked it, so I thought I'd CG it ^^. I guess I made it a little big, with 1600x1200 lol, but I didn't want it to be too small for those people with giant screen resolutions out there ^^. If you'd like a smaller version, just send me a note and I'll get it to you ^_^ This one's dedicated to my awesome new friends at DA: AutumnDark, Sorataiku and Meroko-Rio ^_^. I hope you like this
I know, the mirror sucks, but I don't often draw inanimate objects aside from stars lol. If anyone could give me tips on doing the mirror or clothes/hands/legs/feet(yea I'm no good at those either >.> ) it'd be greatly appreciated ^_^.
Wow! This is raelly adorable!! Great colouring on hair and shadings on clothes~!
You did everything just perfect!!!
Keep that wonderful artworks going~~~! <333
Hmmm tips.... sure! Well, the mirror does seem very 2D, it could use some shadowing or something like that, which implies that the picture has depth. I can't tell you exactly how, though o_O I'm not that good at it myself
The legs you hid away in a very practical way, and I don't see any problems with the arms/shoulders Skirts are so darn hard to draw, I know, so I think you did very well there! ^^ A tip could be showing some of 'inside' of the skirt, if you know what I mean, just out at the edges. Again, so that you can see the depth in the picture. Like you did with her shirt. (I'm not good at explaining things That may not have made any sense)
Her anatomy works well too. Her eyes may seem positioned a bit too far to the right in comparison to her nose and mouth, but it's not much.
I guess that's it
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
